Friends, Parents, Faculty,
Since our grand opening in December, the seventh grade staff of the Los Angeles Museum of Geography have been hard at work on a new set of exhibits, exploring the themes of migration and change throughout LA history and around the world today. Now we invite you to join us for our spring opening on the evening of Tuesday, May 8th from 6-8pm. From the Zoot Suit Riots to the Syrian refugee crisis, the rise of jazz on Central Avenue to the Nisei Days parade, we’ll have LAMoG docents on hand to lead you through the story of how the city has grown and changed with each new wave of Angelenos. Grandparents, siblings, friends and family are all welcome. Light refreshments will be served. For more information, you can check out our website or follow us on Instagram. Hope to see you there, Mr. Bellaimey and the Museum Staff
